Marky has told the Anchorage Daily News that he band's camp has been swamped lately, from promotion to performing to producing. He also said the band is "stronger and rocking harder than ever".
New songs include the titles "Negativity", "Facing the Crowd", and "Back to Start". "Negativity" is a "positive tune about overcoming" and "Facing the Crowd" is "equally optimistic, touching on how appreciative the band is to continue living the dream of playing music".
The new material is still heavy, but strays away from the "nu-metal" label, according to Marky. It all moreso follows the paths of Aerosmith and Alice in Chains. The sound is grittier, since the band switched from digital recording equipment to analogue. Basically, the music will have a "live and genuine feel".
Marky said that the band will announce their new deal with a new record label pretty soon. The new album will be recorded by the end of July and hopefully be released by August.
